Talk: Make a Clay Crucible

Purpose
Discussion for improving the crucible article (body recipe, proving protocol, and the boundary with the future melt/cast article).
Open questions
- Is 1 part temper to 2 parts clay the right default recipe, or should the article give a range with a test ladder?
- Should the proving step require two cycles or three?
Proposed improvements
- Add an SVG diagram (cross-section with wall thickness, rounded bottom, pour lip; proving cycle).
- Write the follow-up article: melt copper prills in a crucible and cast into an open mold; it should consume this article and Anneal Copper.
Decisions
- This article covers only making and proving the vessel; melting/casting is deliberately out of scope until its own article exists.
- Level 2 (pinch pot fundamentals required); the future casting article will sit above smelting.
